By now you have read the first entry and know why I got started. Dumped by my soulmate, I realized that I needed to shake myself off and get out there. To date, to date, he cried. And so he goes. Date, after date, after date. Strange story after strange story. I called a friend and told him the story of a date and he laughed. Tell Malcolm he said. I called Malcolm and he laughed and he said tell John. Boring to repeat the whole story again so I sent an email. And it did the rounds. Friends told me that after a strange date I must send them an email. After a while I decided to start a blog. When I reached 2500 readers, it was time to write a book. What do we all want? I cannot answer that. However I do know that for most of the human race they are looking for that special someone who they want to spend the rest of their lives with. You know, the ONE! The Soulmate! True love! Your dream girl. Everything else you can think of. We often have an image of who that person will look like. Sometimes that image is too perfect and we end up compromising. As one friend said, we all make compromises. I was searching for my girl for decades. I cannot say that I made that much of an effort because people tend to hurt one another. You ask a girl out and she laughs in your face. Is that nice?
